In 2012, I was featured in a documentary about the Battle of Hoengseong during the Korean War and the ongoing search for the remains of Korean soldiers listed as missing in action from that battle.
Park Jong-woo, a photographer and filmmaker approached me, after he learned of my novel about the Korean War, War Remains, which tells the story of a US soldier missing in action from that same battle.
In May, I traveled to Hoengseong, located north of Wonju and spent the day filming segments where the battle I had taken place.
Afterward, Park visited my office at SolBridge for another segment.
The documentary eventually aired on MBC in Korea in the summer of 2012.
